I actually tried the experiment once. Felt better on premium, though admittedly the difference was small and only really noticeable when starting to accelerate from a complete stop.

There is an Exxon station near me.I used to gas up my vehicle (1978 Dodge van, 318 cubic inch V 8 engine) there because the station is so close to me.It got to where I started seeing a green moss looking stuff in my van's carburetor.Van would start running rough, I would take off the carburetor and clean that stuff out of there and my van would run ok for a while.That scenario kept on for about a year or so untill I started thinking perhaps it's that Exxon gas.Ever since I stopped buying Exxon gas, no more problems.I won't even buy Exxon gas for my lawn mower.Or Chevron either, because the Chevron name looks too similar to the Exxon name to me.Or sounds similar. cuhulin
