Is there any domestic brakes, I can put o a 2001 Honda Civic? Besides honda brakes? [ Napa, Bendix,,auto zone,Advance auto Parts? Are there any good brakes in any auto parts stores for brakes? because the prices are like unbelievable difference. Bob
I've used Napa's best pads on hundreds of cars with excellent results but these may cost even more than Honda OEM. Cheaper pads will work but you're asking for noise problems and they may not last as long.

you can put on cheaper pads if you can find them, but if they're gonna last you the next 80k, why bother? if you're selling the car next week, then put on the cheapies.
I just put the "PFC-Carbon-Metallic" brake pads from AutoZone on my Crown Vic. They're quiet and the car stops instantly. The did cost almost $50 for a set, tho.
