my 1993 buick la sabre isn't starting when u turn the ignition key noting happens the secury light is flashing but the car doesn't start we think that the car alarm locked the car because it has an alarm but it has been diconnected and it is currently turned off.

When my GM passkey security system triggers (90 model Reatta), I get the same effect...nothing happens. I cannot turn this system off. All I can do is sit there until it re-sets and try again. I had the passkey reader bypassed, and that worked for a while, but apparently something has gone wrong with that "fix" and will have to be redone.
In my case, another "fix" would be to replace the ignition key barrel with the passkey contacts.
Maybe yours is something like mine...
