Need to replace the alternator. It's tiny but there's very little space between the manifold, shock tower & firewall.
Does it really come out that way or is it supposed to go down somehow?

It still looks impossible to get past the alternator bracket and halfshaft but until I get the rusted-solid lower bolt loose, it can't matter...
i always pull the left side axle, it's a 5 minute job. makes the alternator just fall out. or you can wrestle and fart around for an hour and maybe get it out. Chip
