One of the things that I hope we should all be capable of doing is discussing these issues on a non-partisan basis.
I have had disagreements with 80Knight, and he with me, but we are not enemies. We both have differing opinions on some issues.
As these threads go longer and deeper, I can see there are a lot of differences of opinions, and the truth can be a wide grey area.
I am not a troll. I am tough in my opinons re Detroit, as I have been treated poorly by them in the past.
If you want to be a cheerleader for GM, fine, but my experiences and history are neither lies, nor valueless. A company gets a pat on the back when they deserve a pat on the back.
I am also willing to give credit where credit is due.
I hope there will be a time when the positive competition and the quality and value of automobiles is a fervent and hard fought goal.
