Gas Fumes help

Jan 06, 2004 1 Replies

Just started today on my 94 Villager van. Very strong gas smell in the interior but can;t locate any leaks. Any ideas/help much appreciated.

Make sure all fittings are completely leak free in the engine compartment. The fan draws air from near the top of the hood and any gas fumes will be sucked in. Often times the o-ring inside the aluminum fittings fail and there is gas seepage (no drips, just fumes).
