Anyone having problems with AC on 2004 Chevy Malibu"s? My AC is blowing cold air when the button is not on. Can anyone tell me what causes this?

If you leave your function setting on defrost, the AC will turn on even if the button is not depressed on many cars, the Malibu is probably one of them. Do you have the defroster on?
That makes sense. Part of the A/C function is to dehumidify the air. If you push the recirc button then you aren't going to get any fresh air and the windows will fog up from moisture you add to the air in short order.
