minimum rotor thickness

Rear brakes: Minimum is .315 and mine are .300 What are the risks of just changing the pads given that rear brakes take on a small portion of the load?

As long as no cracks are evident, probably not a safety issue. If your state inspects cars on any kind of regular basis, your gonna need to change 'em then so your best bet would be to change 'em out while you have everything apart & putting pads on. If they're hubless, there gonna be cheap too.
