Raising one side of car

I want to raise my car on one side at a time to work on the rocker panels. Can I do this safely without twisting the car frame with a

2-1/4 hydraulic jack and two metal ramps. I was thinking I might need two jacks but thought someone might have a solution. I also have lots of big lumber pieces for support if I need. Thanks in advance, K

You can just do one corner up at a time with both wheels on the other side chocked. If your frame twists apart, it's time to call the wrecker...

Put one ramp behind the rear wheel, and one behind the front, with the wheels turned slightly. Back up onto the ramps, done!
