IMO, the car need a better front end. It looks like they made an otherwise decent looking car, but then re-used the front end from a Camry, to make the car look ugly from the front. Also, the gas mileage sucks. Quite frankly I'd rather have the most recent version of the Mercury Cougar. Presumably future generations will correct these defects. They really should have optional 1.8L engine for better mileage.


The suspension is from the Celica, I think they should have thrown in the

190HP engine and the 6 speed transmision.

The 5 speed is greared too low...3,000 RPM at 70 MPH.
