I often see electronic scales on E-Bay....sometimes great bargains, sometimes ripoffs.
There are also a lot of the bathroom-scale-conversion setups with outrageous reserve/buy-it-now pricing. If you want this sort of setup, there are plans available to build-it-yourself at:
