Snap-On MT2500 Wanted

I'm looking to buy a MT2500 scanner/scan tool.

I have three old vehicles a 94 Jeep GC, a 94 Chrysler T&C, and a 91 Truck. No plans to loose any of them in the next three years. Anyway, I thought about picking up a MT2500 to cover the OBDI for these vehicles. Now that everything is OBD II, I gather that some of the older MT2500 units (pre 1995) are expensive to upgrade.

Any thoughts on what I should look to pay for the scanner, cables, domestic cartrridge and trouble shooter CTG? Any caveats?

Lots of 'em go by on Ebay every day, along with more user-friendly scanners like OTC Monitor 4000s.
