Not just Toyota, again.. Ford has issued large recalls recently as has Honda and others.
Any "buraco no cu" who still has aftermarket carpets in his car after all the bruhaha is highly suspect.

I do. But they are flat to the floor and go up under the gas pedal.

You can do it and get away with it if you punch a couple of holes so that these aftermarket units latch onto the hooks in the floorboards of cars that were involved in this recall.
It is only those cheap slide-around jobs that might buckle up and get tangled up with the accelerator. And there has been so much public talk of this problem, I cant believe anyone has not heard about it.
You are not a "buraco no cu", Hachiroku ;>)
