I was driving my truck last week, and I heard something start rattling underneath. I only heard the rattling while I was accelerating. I had been driving for about 150 miles when I started hearing the rattling. Luckily, I was close to home at time. When I got home, I checked the transmission fluid. It was low by about 1 pint. So I added 1 pint of transmission fluid. I drove it today for only a few miles, and I didn't hear any rattling.
Would the rattling be due to the low transmission fluid only by 1 pint? If the rattling was caused by the low fluid, what is actually rattling?
