Wal Mart store wouldn't sell a keyring.

I was at the Wal Mart store this afternoon. One of the thingys I put in my shopping cart was a keyring which has a keyring on each end of the keyring, push on a part of the keyring and the middle part of the keyring comes apart in two seperate pieces. When I was checking out at the check out counter, the Wal Mart woman said, No Sale.I asked her, Why can't I buy the keyring? She showed me on the electronic device where it said No Sale. She said when it says that, she can not sell the keyring to me.I told her, Keep it then, I can live without that.

I have an old keyring about forty years old just like it somewhere in my junk pile, if I ever get unlazy enough to find it. cuhulin

I had a spare key made for my new old 1983 big long tall Dodge van I bought last October, I am the second owner of the van, I like big long tall old, old vansThe guy in the Wal Mart automotive department made the key. When I got home, I had to grind down part of the plastic handle on the key so it will fit all the way into my van's ignition switch. The Wal Mart automotive department, that is where I threw the made in China keyring into my shopping cart.Maybe the check out counter in the automotive department of the Wal Mart Gestapo store is different than the check out counters in the front part of the store, I don't know.I don't use any credit cards.I either pay cash or write a check. cuhulin

I've actually had a hard time finding these. Democrats in Congress must have passed some law banning them...

That sounds like the ones they just discontinued at the local store. What probably happened is they screwed up the entry in the computer and the UPC doesn't come up correctly.

I just now looked on the web for, quick disconnect keyrings.Victorinox quick disconnect keyring with two rings, is the kind of keyring I am thinking about.NAPA and some other auto parts stores sell them

Keyrings are important things, even if it is only a piece of wire keyring. It isn't good to have a bunch of keys and things/weight hanging on the same keyring you use for your vehicle ignition switch key

In fact, I think either the ignition switch or the steering wheel lock on my 1983 Dodge van is about worn out. Most times when I want to start the engine I have to play with the ignition switch thing the key fits in to before it will work properly.

Back in the 1980s I owned a 1970 VW van.One day the steering wheel lock would not unlock/work at all.I removed the steering wheel lock thingy and from then on I had no problem with starting the VW engine.

I don't like steering wheel locks. cuhulin
