What Size Gasket Do I use

I have a 305 thats been stroked to a 334......... the cylinder bore is

3.766(a .030 overbore) originaly 3.736........ what size gasket should i use....... ive read alot of stuff about the size and thickness but what size should i use and if i have to special order one, where can i buy it...... how big of a diameter should the gasket bore be?.... the same size as the cylinder bore or slightly bigger????? HELP PLEASE

A basic 4.100 bore gasket that comes in the standard 350 rebuild gasket set is what most people use. Depending on the use for the motor, you can buy a set specifically made for the 305 bore but I've only seen them through GM performance parts. You aren't losing much in terms in compression and probably isn't worth the extra expense. If you're looking to maximize your compression ratio, you could run steel shim gaskets (.015" thickness) instead of standard thickness (.041").
