Wiring help needed, 93 Dodge Shadow

Dec 25, 2005 5 Replies

Got the wife a remote start for Xmas. Found out I can get a T-harness connector to make the install easier, but the website says it's only for a 1994 Shadow. The harness plugs in between the ignition switch connector. I'd like to avoid cutting wires if possible, so I need to know if this will fit a 1993 Shadow. My Haynes book for this car shows the same wiring diagram for both.

What'sa matter? You don't like your wife? Remote starters are a terrific way of causing all kinds of diabolical electrical system problems in whatever car they're perpetrated on.

Yes, if you insist on proceeding with this, the '93 and '94 Shadow are wired the same as one another.

Actually, I like GM cars. Hope the Shadow dies, so I can get her a GM. Unfortunately, it seems Shadows are like the old Chrysler slant sixes, unkillable. Good thing I are a mekanik. Well, used to be, 1975 to

1984, then got into CNC machining & programming.

Thank you.

Only if you don't know what you are doing when you install them. I had starters in the last 2 of my

3 vehicles ( newest one doesn't ) and I never once had a problem with either one.

So that's a sample size of...two.

Sufficient IF it is the total (identified) population!
