(once again), a distinction without a difference. Here in the land of "DRLs Not Required", having DRLs on motorcycles makes them stand from surrounding vehicles particularly when the sun is at a low angle behind the rider.

Regardless, millions of Canadians live SOUTH of the 49th parallel of latitude which for much of Canada IS the border.

You LOSE, Sharxie. Your assertion that what passes for "much of the Canadian border" is irrefutably and significantly further north than the California / Oregon border (is it not obvious?) The Canadians and visiting Nationals between the 49th and 41° 59' parallels, are still in Canada. Now we do have Canadians living below the 41°59' parallel driving various automobile brands and models that do not have DRLs. Scary thought, aye?
