I don't think Charles actually killfiles anyone. He just says he does because it makes him feel powerful, like people who love to type PLONK! in response to someone's message, but they're back the next day, responding to the very person they said they'd ignore.
Since the whole world is plotting against him, claiming to killfile people is the closest Charles gets to having any control over his life, and he can't even do that right.
But Joe keeps trying to break through the killfile. I had to come up with a special killfile JUST FOR JOE. The regular killfile wasn't good enough for him. Oh, no. With the regular killfile I had over 20 entries in my killfile just for him and he still was getting through. Now all I see is the occasional header when he tries to reply to me. That's what I'm making fun of. He thinks that he can get through, but all I ever see is a header and not in every case, then. I never see his message no matter how much he tries to get through to me. The only way I ever see a message from him is if someone actually replies to his message. I would estimate I'm only seeing 2-5 headers from Joe a night now. And if I sign off the newsgroup and back on, the headers will disappear, too.
I've run into several people like Joe that think they're so smart they can get past a killfile just because they're younger and more 'computer savvy'. What he doesn't get is I'm the guy that puts the computer savvy kids to work protecting my network, and I let my guys teach me things I don't already know, so I can keep up with the Joes of this world.
Moron. I haven't changed my email address or "handle" in something like 18 months. Probably more like two years IIRC. If your killfile doesn't work, it's due to your own stupidity.
In what way is he breaking through your filters? I don't see anything different than usual. How hard is it to just not click on a message if you don't want to read his drivel? It seems to me you are failing at controlling yourself rather than teaching JSB a lesson.
