Corolla 2003 vs 2004 vs 2005

Jul 14, 2005 2 Replies

Is there any difference between the 2003, 2004, and 2005 Corollas, other than the year they were made? Are minor improvements made each year? I'm searching for a used Corolla and trying to figure out if there is any justification to the fact that a 2005 costs more than a 2003 even if all other things including mileage are the same.

Thanks!

In Canada on 2003 CE model the side trim is black and on the 2004 CE the same trim are the same color of the car.

Can't tell you for 2005

Minor improvements are made every MONTH on Toyota assembly lines. As issues are uncovered, manufacturing techniques and supplier specs are updated to fix the issue going forward. Many car manufacturers do the same, Toyota and Honda have a reputation for doing it quickly.

As for spec changes, research each year on edmunds.com to see standard and optional equipment changes.
