Corolla Beeping noise on drivers side

Hi

The wife just got a second hand Corolla, and after a few weeks driving there is a Beeping noise on drivers side.

Does not happen very often and is just a single beep each time. but at least

2-3 each journey

Must be some kind of warning, but warning for what?

TIA

Mark

Do any warning lights flash on the dashboard when the beeping happens? Is the noise coming from the outside or inside? You didn't mention year, country, and trim. Depending on the year and model, it could be a seatbelt warning, key in the ignition warning, or security system.

Check the seatbelt receptacle for foreign objects like coins, pins, etc. Make sure nothing is sitting on the passenger's seat.

Make sure the driver's door is completely shut.
