My 94 Corolla (1.8L) starts rough but when it warms up it idles ok. When I press on the gas it idles really rough. When I put it in gear it won't run well. It hesitates and can barely run.
I replaced the timing belt but that had no effect. I replaced the rotor and spark plugs with no difference in performance.
What should I be looking for? Could it be a bad cylinder if so why does it idle ok in park or neutral? It only idles rough when I press on the gas.
