Finally sold 98 Corolla LE

It had 130k miles and we're retired not needing a second car. It was starting to get plagued with electrical problems, driver side window motor, passenger side door lock solenoid, and purge solenoid for gas tank emissions. I replaced the plastic driver side door latch 3 times. The cheap plastic fasteners for the rear stop/signal light covers seemed to be made for one time use.

We had a 92 Trecel that lasted 200k miles although it started to have A/C problems towards the end. It did have wind up windows and manual door locks.

We're using a 98 Sienna XLE 125k miles, the only major problem was that the running boards rusted out, solution was to remove them, I understand there's a recall on the spare mounting rusting out but haven't received a notice yet.

Wonder if Toyota's going from good to worse over the years? Hopefully we won't be buying anything before another 75k+ miles anyway.
