Front sway bar bushings for 1996 T100?

Sep 24, 2007 1 Replies

My truck failed the state safety inspection this year, in part because of "cracked and torn front sway bar bushings." Where is the best place to get these, short of a Toyota dealer? It looks like Checker and Autozone have something, but I'm not sure whether I need the greasable or non-greasable and I'm not sure of the size.

Thanks, Trevor

You should be able to remove the sway bar bushing by removing one bolt. Remove the old bushing and measure the diameter of the opening or take a piece of paper and wrap it around the sway bar to get the circumference of the sway bar and then calculate the diameter for a replacement. Get the non-greaseable bushing.
