This light will not shut off. the book says "turn the ignition key to the off position with the odometer reading shown.\ turn the ignition key to the on position while holding down the reset knob. The off position does not show the odometer reading.
What am I doing wrong? Ron
After setting the odo to "total miles", turn off the key. Hold the reset button in, turn the key back on, and continue to hold the button in until you start seeing action.
With the key off, the odo will be blank. That's normal.
