OT: April 14th In Chicago and we're still FREEZING

We've had below freezing temperatures since sometime in November. The Weather Forecast always seems to have nice weather 3 days away that never comes.

So much for Global Warming. We've had the prolonged coldest temperatures here and one of the snowiest on record. We're not getting Global Warming in Chicago.

Besides that, AlGore can't add. In the 1930's, when people were broke and couldn't afford to drive much and the factories were shut down, we had some of the worst weather on record. (Dust Bowl, anyone?)

Then during WW2, and we were producing full-tilt for the war effort and gas was being consumed almost as fast as we could pump it out of the ground, Europe had two of the most bitter winters on record, 1944-45 and 1946-47.

AlGore is a scaremonger and trying to make a buck by scaring the rest of us. Typical junk science.

Charles the Curmudgeon.

And you can't multiply, but maybe that's a good thing.

Fresno, California was at 94F yesterday. Today will be in the upper

80's I believe. Then it drops to the 70's and at one point this week, an ultra low of 69F for the high. Ah yes, interesting weather for sure.

My wife spent March in Idaho (Priest River area) with her sister (lung cancer got her). It snowed nearly every day and they had over a foot still on the ground on the 27th. Here in Redding we had upper 80's last week. Was in Mt Shasta Saturday and there is plenty of snow in the shaded areas at

4000' level. A lot of snow in the mountains but little rain down here and Shasta Lake a good 50' below full - so suggest you prepare for higher veggie costs.

housing!!

Two years ago a house down the street sold for 435 - it was on market last summer/ fall at 389 - now foreclosed and listed at 325. Sound pretty good until you find that even $20/hr jobs are scarce around here.

Just my observations.
