OT: Bushisms never get old

Wit and Wisdom from George W Bush (aka "43")

2 November 2006: Anybody who is in a position to serve this country ought to understand the consequences of words.

6 September 2000: We don't believe in planners and deciders making the decisions on behalf of Americans.

18 April 2006: I'm the decider, and I decide what is best.

4 October 2004: I think if you know what you believe, it makes it a lot easier to answer questions. I can't answer your question.

12 October 2000: I'm worried about over committing our military around the world. I want to be judicious in its use.

7 November 2000: Let me tell you what else I'm worried about: I'm worried about an opponent who uses nation building and the military in the same sentence.

30 August 2000: Well, I think if you say you're going to do something and don't do it, that's trustworthiness.

29 January 2001: I am mindful not only of preserving executive powers for myself, but for predecessors as well.

18 February 2002: For a century and a half now, America and Japan have formed one of the great and enduring alliances of modern times.

3 October 2003: Free nations don't develop weapons of mass destruction.

5 October 2002: I was proud the other day when both Republicans and Democrats stood with me in the Rose Garden to announce their support for a clear statement of purpose: you disarm, or we will.

7 May 2003: I think war is a dangerous place.

18 June 2002: I just want you to know that, when we talk aboutwar, we're really talking about peace.

28 September 2001: Our nation is somewhat sad, but we're angry. There's a certain level of blood lust, but we won't let it drive our reaction. We're steady, clear-eyed and patient, but pretty soon we'll have to start displaying scalps.

29 May 2003: We've found the weapons of mass destruction. You know, we found biological laboratories. We found the weapons of mass destruction. We found biological laboratories. You remember when Colin Powell stood up in front of the world, and he said, Iraq has got laboratories, mobile labs to build biological weapons. They're illegal. They're against the United Nations resolutions, and we've so far discovered two. And we'll find more weapons as time goes on. But for those who say we haven't found the banned manufacturing devices or banned weapons, they're wrong, we found them.

24 May 2005: See, in my line of work you got to keep repeating things over and over and over again for the truth to sink in, to kind of catapult the propaganda.

2 July 2003: There are some who feel that, you know, the conditions are such that they can attack us there. My answer is: Bring them on.

5 August 2004: Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.

20 January 2004: For diplomacy to be effective, words must be credible - and no one can now doubt the word of America.

17 September 2002: There's an old saying in Tennessee, I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee, that says, fool me once, shame on...shame on you. Fool me...you can't get fooled again.

21 May 2001:

To those of you who received honours, awards and distinctions: I say well done. And to the C students: I say you, too, can be president of the United States.

2 September 2005: And Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job. A

Of course you'd rather hear those. You're an idiot. And, you're proof of the fact that idiots can never know that they are idiots. Your parents should've been honest with you many, many years ago.
