How do you handle a co-worker who every now and then comes up to you and asks, "You look sleepy. Are you all right?" I was asked how I would handle it and I replied either, " You look like s*it too", or, "What difference does it make?"

Try treating them how you would want to be treated. Just say "Thank you for your concern, that is very kind of you."
What - no need to reflect on the persons K-9 heritage, love life or scatological body functions. How would this OP ever understand you or even know you are a total nut-case.
...and then beat them within an inch of their lives....lol
A sharp jab to the solar plexus is my standard issue response to most inquiries.
I've tried that too. Then I offer them a coffee with loads of sugar. LOL
Tell them a sad ass story about how you were up all night last night as your dog was dying, or your wife was having a baby and the baby came out dead or something like that.
"You're boring the HELL out of me!"
LOL! With or without a Crescent Wrench in hand?!
Wow! You just jogged my memory about morning staff meetings. That was a long time ago. Thank you.
Just explain that you were born ugly, and that you'd appreciate it if he would stop reminding you of it.
I'm just sayin' I don't go to work to make friends, thats all...
