OT: Pass the ammo

Looks like Kalifornians are finally starting to straighten up and behave right.

***People have a right to protect themselves, but things can get out of hand quickly if everyone starts packing a weapon, said Deputy Police Chief Dave Kozicki.***

Lots of crooks? Too bad... After a handful get popped for holding up stores maybe they will cease and desist such out of hand behavior.

***"That's a concern that law enforcement has all the time, that people will engage in vigilantism," said Kozicki.*

Kozicki needs to pull his head out of his kazoo. Defending ones self or business is not engaging in vigilantism. It's called self defense.

***A 22-year-old Oakland man was shot at least three times and critically wounded when he tried to hold up a liquor store Saturday night. And an 18-year-old Pittsburg teenager was shot and wounded when he tried to rob a store last Thursday night..***

Boo hoo hoo... I bet they think twice next time they decide to engage in out of hand behavior like robbing people. Here in TX, nearly everyone and their sisters are packing, and you also have the "castle doctrine" which entitles one to ventilate a robber or attacker on ones own property. Funny that the police here have not had any mention of vigilantism. If you ask a cop in this town his feelings on a home or business owner shooting a robber, they will most likely tell you, "good shot".. :/ Freaking lefttards just don't have a clue.

We regret to inform you that any comments you make on the politics of Oakland have no validity whatsoever until the memories of your previous gaff are gone. The statute of limitations for your gaff is 75 years. Have a nice day.

"Oakland shamefully denied our troops to disembark from an aircraft into the terminal. The ONLY reason this would be reasonable would be if all of the gates were filled, but I've been to Oakland and the gates are never filled.Nobody wants to go to Oakland ...

Shame on Oakland. Shame."

I thought it was "Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition"

I've been humming "Bless 'em All' at work lately, with new words with reference to the 2008 candidates.

Charles the Curmudgeon.

Irrelevant.

Next, you'll tell me that my town's highway maintenance crew reports to a banana company in Ecuador. Same way Oakland can somehow override the rules made by the TSA. Equally crazy, that idea.

No relationship to your suggestion that the law be broken because soldiers were involved. The law is the law. Period. If you don't like it, write letters and get it changed.

No city or airport authority gets to bend the TSA's rules just because they feel like it.

Grow up, Shmuckland.

The characteristics of the city are in no way related to whether the city can choose to ignore the law.

I'd suggest that any time you see the text below, you quietly leave the conversation and don't come back. You always try and explain away your stupidity, and it never works out well for you.
