Ha Ha... House arrest? Yeah... like she is living in a 800 square foot house in the hood.
House arrest in paradise... Like a vacation...
You know... it is just a matter of time before inmates in the current unit start uprising and telling others how sick they are.
How convenient though. HIPPA laws prohibit them from talking about her release so long as they blame it on medical reasons. HMMM... money under the table?

Richard A. Hutton, attorney for Paris Hilton, today issued the following statement on behalf of Ms. Hilton:
"I want to thank the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and staff of the Century Regional Detention Center for treating me fairly and professionally. I am going to serve the remaining 40 days of my sentence. I have learned a great deal from this ordeal and hope that others have learned from my mistakes."
UH yeah.. Treated Fairly? BAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.. Only in Paris's world.
dbu,.
Hell, you're just jealous because you can't have her, :)
Young, pretty women tend to get their way, bet they do with you too, LOL

Hardly. I don't think she is pretty at all. Of course I do not go for blonds. I am more of a burnette or rehead type... Give my Claire Daines, Claire Florani, Lucy Lui, or Scarlett Johanson any day over that girl... (my spelling of these names may be off but thats okay since I will never have the luxury of being with them)...

I heard some guy talking about the over crowded jail system in LA. Not many, it seems, ever stays in more than a couple days before they are released due to over crowding.
G

They usually cut their time in half.. she had the 45 reduced to 23 if she had good behavior and was spefically told by the judge that she would serve the full sentence.
T
ToMh
Doesn't matter, the judge says that to all the criminals. The reality is that most still get released after a couple days.
BTW, It's much easier to respond to your post if you don't top post. You don't want to be another Mike Hunt?

I remember Sheriff Joe from when we lived in Phoenix. He has a point. If hot, dirty tents, etc. are good enough for our troops, it's certainly good enough for criminals.

Someone asked Joe if he would consider doing 'jail' work under contract for other jurisdictions and he said Hell Yes.

She didn't commit a Federal Crime.
She committed a crime of Stupidity. It was nothing; she received a notification from the court that could have kept her out of jail, but the "people that read that stuff for..." her dropped the ball.
Since she never had to be accountable for herself before, I think she should have served the time, and if she has to go into solitary, so be it.
I got violated on a bunch of BULLSHIT, and even though it *was* "Club Fed", I still had to go BACK in for four months. But the thing with the Federal system is, if you get violated your probationary period goes ALL the way back to the beginning! I was given 36 months probation, I had 16 months left to go and got violated. I did my 4 months and then got set back to the full 36 months!
Makes you think twice about having "people read that..." for you!

I still think perhaps her "medical condition": is plain ol' PMS. Or maybe she was just "sick" of being in jail.

Big fat hairy deal! ;) I was 'sick' of jail after a week..with another year and a half to go!
Maybe she'll learn to read her own friggin' mail and take accountability for herself!
I bet the birth control pills were wearing off and the hormones were starting to run amok! The sheriff said, "She was not taking her medicine."
No s*it...you don't need birth control in the slammer!!! ;)
