The moment they get a taste of capitalism the standard of living will

You may be disappointed. The legendary Cuban cigar is not what it used to be. Aficionados claim that other countries produce far better cigars now. Cuba's industry is merely riding on it's laurels due to the crumbling of its infrastructure.
Hopefully that will change once the last annoying bastion of communism in our hemisphere disintegrates.
