Like we've been in Korea for 60 years now. Of course, those poor Koreans need us to keep them safe from the North. oh yeah. The time has come to end all this foolishness of bases around the world, all draining the military budget. And the biggest drain, sinkhole, toilet, whatever is Iraq. Time to go. Past time to go. We're equally unsafe wheter we stay or go.
South Korea is safe because the US Military is there. Even the kook in the North knows not to f*ck with us.

Worst thing in the world would be to eliminate the bases. And almost all were talking about closing Guantanamo. Hot Button issue is all. Closing Guantanamo would be one of the most utterly *stupid* thing anyome could do.
But, we're talking the run of the mill Democrat this election cycle. I was hoping someone with a brain and leadership skills would step to the front of the pack, but I see all we have is more of the same. Totally unimpressed. The same old rhetoric in the same old package.
