Thermostat flavors - 94 Tercel 3E-E

Oct 07, 2005 2 Replies

Hi group!

My '94 Tercel is running a bit cold - usually about 1/8" above the bottom mark on the gauge.

Before I pull out the existing thermostat, I'd like to have a replacement in my pocket.

Do you happen to know what temperature values are available?

And, is there a "standard" one?

TIA,

- Ralph

Your thermostat is bad.

194F (90C).

Use only a dealer replacement, and make sure it's installed the correct way around. Aftermarket thermostats may be cheaper to buy, but are *much* more likely to cause you problems.

Many thanks!
