What do 2006 RAV4s sell for where you live ?

Hello

My wife and I are shopping for a 2006 RAV4 Limited 4x4 V6 for her. This is in the San Francisco Bay Area.

We visited a couple of dealerships last weekend to test drive it and check out availability. They seem to be in short supply; we saw just a couple in each of the two dealerships we visited.

Also, the sales guys kept emphasizing that demand is greater than supply at the current time and that we should expect to pay MSRP when we are ready to make a decision.

Is that whats happening elsewhere as well ?

Thanks.

Why not drive and price the other small SUVs on the market. Find those that suit your needs and get a 'total drive home price' before you go paying MSRP or more for ANY vehicle?

There are a bunch of small SUVs available that have V6 engines as standard equipment that are just as good or better that can be driven home for much less.

Wow. I'd say MSRP is good!

Usually when demand outstrips supply, they add an ADMU, which is a premium because they have one on the lot, usually $1500-2000.

I *never* pay ADMUs, but I will pay Sticker for a high demand vehicle.

Have you looked at the Honda CR-V (*GASP*! He said HONDA in a TOYOTA ng!!!)
