AC fan not working

May 22, 2005 2 Replies

Thanks for the suggestions for the fan problem. I just don't think the fan is getting power because of a blown fuse somewhere. 2 fan speeds died at the same time, plus when You turn the fan switch off and on, there is no flickering (very slight) of the interior lights, as there would normally be. Does anyone know where the fuses are?

if blower resistor is bad, fan should turn on with setting on highest speed only, resistor is only used for the slower speeds and bypassed for the highest fan speed. Possible causes:

1) a bad switch or relay in the fan control panel 2) bad blower motor it self, maybe a something stuck or brushes worn on motor. 3) check for fuses that maybe blown. 4) disconnected harness or broken wire.

Correcto Mondo,...namesake :-)
