How do I know if my engine is :



5VZ-FE or
5E-FE or
5F-E=20 ???

by the VIN??



Mine is a 1996 Camry LE, V6 - 3.0 [I don't have the VIN now]

I beleive your car has the 1MZ-FE V-6.

How did you get to that conclusion? by the LE? by the Year and Engine?

There are some parts I need to buy, but they ask for engine number.

He's right but you can usually find the engine model # on a sticker = under your hood.=20

Well, actually he's not right.

I just came from the Dealer, and they ran a report based on the VIN, and = the engine is 5VZ-FE.

You're right, I never thought about checking the stickers under the = hood, and in some other places; I'll used that to confirm this number
