Does someone know whether there is a recommended replacement schedule for the fuel filter on a 2000 Camry CE? Or does the replacement occur if and when the filter gives signs of problems. There are no problems at the moment. Would like to know for curiosity as the owner's manual is quite silent about the matter. JG.
My Haynes manual specifies every 30,000 miles. I did my first one at almost
50,000 with no problems.--

I have owned and driven automobiles for over 60 years, and never replaced a fuel filter, or had a clogged filter.
My 1992 Camry Engine Repair Manual says only "inspect Fuel Lines and Connections every 30, 000 miles". Toyota evidently doesn't think routine replacement is prudent or necessary.
