Help! My ac went out. The light on the switch is flashing. Got the r12 serviced, and it holds a charge, and the compressor is turning on, but still no air, and the light is still flashing. Any ideas before I let the dealer bleed me?

AFAIK, the computer will not let the compressor run if it thinks the charge is so low that the compressor would be damaged. On some vehicles you can reset the computer and clear any codes by disconnecting the battery and touching the two cable ends together. You then wait a few minutes, reconnect, and try again. Worth a shot. It's free and easy.
