interior leak 97 camry - need advice? help....

Hi...

I have a 97 Camry with a sunroof witch has a cab interior leak of some sort on it's passenger side (sogy base), I drove through a super large puddle about eight weeks ago that is when the problems started (I think?) I live in the NW so we have had a very wet fall so far - does anyone know what it might be, I checked the sun roof for a leak with some warm water and I don't think that is it, I think it's related to this puddle I went through in early October - It didn't leak before that. How would I fix such a thing - If it's the puddle that - I am going to rent a dehumidifier and see if that helps - if the leak was from the puddle thing it should, right?....

Any suggestions? Thank you.

Take a look underneath the car and see if the plug got knocked out. There should be a fairly good sized rubber plug about the middle of the floor pan. If this has come loose, water could splash up underneath the car and soak the floor.

This is a guess, as you did not mention WHERE the dampness is. This is where I would look first.

Also, check the door mouldings. I have an '85 Corolla that this happened to, and the mouldings were coming loose.
