Badgolferman, Was there ever a determination as to the location of the torque converter lockup solenoid? The parts layout provided by Transtar:

shows it mounted outside. All of the procedures that I have seen which provide information as to how to trouble shoot the P0773 error code shows the SL connector in a different location, next to the other connectors on the top front edge next to the shift lever. This would indicat it is inside. Hoping you finally figured it out.
