As far as I know, the very latest version of OE doesn't munge the trailing space on sigdashes, and might not even wrap URL's or lines beginning with a quote delimiter. Not sure though.

Kinda both. It does both, it will use recirc in the cabin temp is high and the set temp is low. In other words, if it has a lot of cooling to do, it will recirc. In defrost, it always goes to fresh. Now when temsp are obtained (match) then it may use fresh, but all of a sudden, if you crank the temp way up, max heating it done in recirc. But only with AC on.

Yes, you can overide any part or all if this entire system anytime you desire.

I agree, initially you want fresh to push out hot air in the cabin, its why I always roll down the windows, turn the fan on high, in about a minute, its equalized, then roll them up. But it doesnt work that way. :-(

Any "food" (and I use the term loosely) from McDonalds or (mmmm) H.S. Fish and Chips (malt vinegar) will wreak out your car especially if you run in RECIRC mode for even a very short time. And the stench will be there tomorrow too! I don't want this happening until the car ages a bit more, thank you very much. ;^)

Well, the original post in this thread from Doug (at least according to my newsreader, Google Groups) was comparing the Camry's automatic climate control to that of the Prius, and wondering why recirc is on when the AC is on. Which is why I posted the information on how and speculation on why the Prius' automatic climate control works the way it does, as it would give some insight as to how the Camry climate control works, if they are comparable as Doug suggests.

(1) As I have already mentioned, I have OE 6.0 ... which appears to be the latest release of Outlook Express. Now, regular Outlook as found in the latest version of MS Office (short of Window XP) is a bit different ... according to PC Magazine. Is THAT the "Outlook" you are referring to?
