Steering wonders

I am having trouble with my steering. It seems that ever since I had the struts replaced on the car, it feels like the car is being blown by a 80 MPH wind, it's all over the road. I've had the Stabilizer bar and all steering components checked, all appear okay.

Has anybody had this same problem??

Thanks

Sounds like something's wrong with the strut installation. Most of the alignment characteristics are established by the strut except toe in. Unlike shock absorbers, the wheel hub (steering "knuckle" actually) bolts right on to the bottom of the strut - so the strut is an integral part of the suspension geometry. Caster is like the inclination on shopping cart wheels - it keeps them from swiveling when moving forward, and caster should be stabilizing your car's wheels, but it's not adjustable. Make sure the tops of the struts were installed correctly. There's a detent in the strut mount at the top which aligns with the end of the spring, or could be something else off in the way it was installed and set up. Did they install the correct part number for your vehicle?
