Check out the OEM kit offered by Toyota first (availabe from many on-line Toyota parts dealers for 20-30% off) --- it plugs right in and has the factory warranty. After market ones are not very reliable. Suspect price difference is minimal. Same story with OEM alarm systems - no wire cutting at al and come with complete instructions.
