Maintenance The Toyota web site has no maintenance info. How often
Change ATF - any diff between 4x4 and 4x2
Change plugs (V8 no tax discount on V6)
Change timing belt - does it even have one?
Are there any other maintenance items other than drive belts, PSF, brake drums/pads?
Am leaning toward 4x2 and snow tires in winter with 500# of sand in bed in winter.

YOUR CALL. 4WD AND FOUR SNOWS GIVES GREATER ABILITY TO GET OUT OF THE WAY OF SOME IDIOT ABOUT TO KILL YOU.
Either way, be SURE you order your truck with a limited-slip differential. This is a factory option and may be included in some packages. Without an LSD, on a slippery surface, only one wheel per axle is pulling.... easy to get stuck without it, even with 4wd.
