2003 V6 4Runner engine

Maybe it's a good engine but what is considered "normal" is weird. A single noisy valve is something everyone can deal with after 100K miles or so: but in a new car?? Also, if you start your car in the morning and the belts squeal like some pulley has frozen up, It's just your imagination because it won't do it at the dealer shop. Consumer Reports rates toyotas as very reliable but their dealer are rated among the worst. I guess a reliable car is not much use if the dealers can't/won't do repairs. Good luck folks.
