'81 with 22R octane rating?

Can I run 87 octane in it? Seems to like 91 better, but I am not sure.

It should run just fine with regular. You might check the timing to see if it is too far advanced.

I'm sure it takes 87. 91 is for performance motors, and the 22r is not one of those.
