i was wondering if anyone knows if an 83 Toyota 4×4 will accept any other year of tranny without doing any changes at all or at least very little changes?the engine is a 22r carbed.

A W56 would be a good choice off a 22RE truck, it'll be a little longer as I recall, so may need some driveshaft length schanges.
