Add-A-Leaf... how much capacity does it add

I had a lift kit put in my '03 Tacoma a couple years ago. The lift in the read was an add a leaf. I never paid any attention to how much weight capacity that added to the box. And I don't find that info anywhere. I think they were Tough Country. One leaf on each side.

Any idea how much these added to the weight capacity for the bed of the truck?

Thanks.

The limit on weight is the axle bearings, and, the tire capacity, according to inflation! Look at the sidewall, plus, any charts in the manual for your truck, and on the door labels!

That said, those leafs might add 750 pounds total, in the pair.

There are the two coil spring overload sets, one adds 1,000 in the pair, and the other adds 1,500 pounds. But, when the five or six bolt rear axle is semi-hypoid semi floating, that means that only a single bearing is supporting each axle shaft, which limits the full weight capacity to less than 2,500 pounds.
