bedliner

so i opted for a plastic Toyota bedliner (got one for free), but i used Herculiner 1st to protect rubbing issues. Herculiner is a bit tricky to paint on, but once you get the technique down it dries rather nice. i did only one coat. i used painters masking tape around the rails, once the Herc sets up for about 15 minutes i peeled back the tape for a nice edge...

now that Herculiner gallon kits are only $60, i think this was the best deal & protection.... i feel that the energey absorption within a plastic liner is much higher that what is offered by spray-on bedliners, so dropping brick and engine heads into the bed will not be an issue with a plastic liner...
