Has anyone ever changed upper and lower ball joints on a '90 4-Runner and if so, do you need to remove the steering knuckle? In looking at it, it appears that both ball joints can be replaced without removing the knuckle although the shop that quoted the cost for replacement shows labor for removal and reinstallation of these.
